Building is cheap. Imagination is priceless.
The cost of making things collapsed. What's scarce now is knowing what's worth making.
For most of my career, building was the expensive step. You had an idea on Monday and spent three months making it real. The making was the job, and its pace set everyone's pace.
That cost collapsed. A machine will now build almost anything you can describe, and it gets faster every month. The constraint moved from 'can we build this' to 'do we know what's worth building, and can we say it clearly enough that the machine gets it right.'
That second question is genuinely hard, and none of it is technical. It's imagination, and the nerve to aim high. Those don't come standard, and most of us haven't had to lean on them this hard.
Where this goes: products where the design system, the data model, and the AI are the same thing. One point of view running through everything the machine makes. If you're building toward that, I want to compare notes.
